Add a fancy touch to your next charcuterie board — without a lot of fuss — by layering your way to a delicious bloom.

1. Choose a Glass.

This will be the size of your salami rose, so pick out a glass with your charcuterie board in mind. A wine glass works great!

2. Start Layering.

Using thinly sliced, deli-style salami, overlap pieces about halfway over the other around the rim of the glass.

3. Keep Layering!

Continue to layer the salami, working inward so the center opening grows smaller.

4. Flip and Voilà.

Turn the glass over and lift to reveal your salami rose.

5. Finish the Board.

Surround your beautiful (and delicious!) salami rose with your favorite cheeses, olives and crackers. Sweet touches like jam, fruit or chocolate also help round things out.

The Single “Stem” Method

If you prefer to create single-serve roses, try this method:

  • Fold four pieces of salami in half and lay them out horizontally, overlapping each piece about halfway over the other.
  • Starting at either end, roll them all into a single “rose,” then secure with a toothpick.
