  Jarrow Formulas® Vitamin D Three is formulated with cholecalciferol, the form of vitamin D that may improve vitamin D status better than equivalent amounts of ergocalciferol.* Each serving of Jarrow Formulas® Vitamin D Three contains 125 mcg (5,000 IU) of vitamin D Three, so you receive the amount of this essential nutrient to support your health. D Three is also the form produced by skin with UVB exposure (sunlight). Vitamin D Three is converted to its hormonally-active form, calcitriol, which enhances dietary calcium and phosphorous absorption, supports the production of osteocalcin (a structural protein in bone), and stimulates the vitamin D receptor in innate immune cells to support a healthy immune response.* Contains no wheat, gluten, soybeans, dairy, egg, fish/shellfish, peanuts/tree nuts, or sesame.
