Points Program FAQs

You can now Save Your Way with our rewards program. Fuel Points are now called Points, and you can now choose how to redeem them. Redeem the same Points you earn today for NEW dollars off groceries, fuel discounts, or a combination of both.

You can choose to redeem Points for groceries, fuel, or both: 

• Dollars Off Groceries: Redeem 100 Points for $1 off your next purchase. You can redeem up to 1,000 Points per day for $10 off your next purchase. 
• Fuel Discounts Redeem 100 Points for 10 cents off per gallon at participating fuel centers. 

Redeem Points for dollars off groceries in your Digital Account, either on our website or mobile app. After signing in, view your Points balance and select Redeem Points. Choose how many Points you want to redeem (minimum 100 Points). Once you redeem, your reward will automatically apply to your next eligible transaction, in-store or online with Pickup or Delivery. The discount will be reflected on your receipt. 

After you redeem Points, your dollars off groceries reward will apply on your next eligible transaction, in-store or online with Pickup or Delivery. Ship-to-home orders placed through Instacart Marketplace are not eligible. Excludes tobacco products, fuel, money orders, taxes, postage stamps, Kroger Family of Companies Gift Cards, all prepaid reloadable debit cards (Green Dot®, MoneyPaks®), all financial variable load cards (American Express®, Mastercard®, & Visa®), lottery, promotional tickets, CRV, Prescriptions and guest or customer services/fees. Alcohol, fluid milk and milk products are excluded in some areas. Void where taxed, prohibited or restricted by law. Must use loyalty card to redeem reward. 

Fuel Points can be redeemed at our Kroger Family of Stores Fuel Centers and participating Shell locations. To find the redemption location near you, click here. 

Redeeming is easy. Enter your alt ID and follow the pump prompt instructions to redeem your Points. 

• Dollars off groceries: Redeem up to 1,000 Points per day for $10 off your purchase. 
• Fuel Discounts: Redeem up to 1,000 Points for $1 off per gallon. Points are redeemable in 100 point increments, up to 35 gallons of unleaded, mid-grade, premium, diesel or E85. Not all stations may have all grades, credit and debit card fraud prevention policies or regional regulations may limit transaction at the dispenser. At participating Shell locations, you can redeem 100 points for 10₵ off per gallon.

You do not need a Digital Account to redeem Points for fuel savings at the pump.

No, once Points are redeemed for Dollars Off Groceries, they can’t be converted back to Points.

You earn Points when you shop in-store or online with pickup or delivery. 

• Groceries: Earn 1 Point on each dollar spent on most groceries. 
• Gift Cards: Earn 2 Points for each dollar spent on most gift cards.

Points expire the last day of the month after they are earned. Dollars off groceries rewards expire at the end of the month after the Points were earned. For example, Points earned in May (and rewards redeemed from them) expire on June 30th. 

You can see how many Points you have earned or have been applied to your purchase on your receipt. You can also check your Points balance on our website or mobile app.
